pro-choice isn't about being pro-abortion, it is about being conscious of the fact that each individual on this earth (female or male) is entitled to control of her/his own body.  i have recently been prompted to write a piece on the importance of roe vs. wade in our society.  the reason for this is a specific organization that visited our wonderful little city last week, called the "army of god".  the organization itself is an oxymoron because their belief system revolves around the fact that they feel it justified to kill doctors in order to save unborn babies.  i do not condone killing in any sense of the word, but i cannot consciously sit back and watch human rights be taken away.  roe vs. wade turned 30 this year and, as you read, it is at risk of being overturned in the senate.  the "army of god" believes that it is okay to commit murder when it is for the reason of stopping abortions.  this is indeed blasphemous for the mere fact that one of the ten commandents stated by god is "thou shalt not kill".  this so called "army" traveled to buffalo this week to support confessed doctor killer, james kopp.  the rhetoric of this organization has no place in buffalo, or anywhere for that matter.  i am placing links on this page that i hope you will click on to support the pro-choice movement.  the only way to make a real difference is through education.  it is imperative that we keep politics and religion out of the womb!
